Jack went today for a real haircut, not by his mommy! He didn't like it much but he looks quite handsome.

Finally Well

We spent last week from Monday until Saturday home with Jack the clingy sick man. He had a high fever and sore throat the entire week, wouldn't eat and only wanted to be held and snuggled. But all of that is now in the past and we are on our way to a healthy happy little man again. Just in time for TURKEY DAY!! One of our favorite holidays, nothing better than family, food and good ole poker!! Bring on the cards, chips and cash. Hopefully I will get comped and be able to play some cards after a wonderful meal. Wish me luck...with the comp and then the poker game.

My Three Girls!!!

We can never get Abigail to hold still for photos but somehow Heidi was able to snap this one.
Isabella on the other hand is such a huge HAM that you can barely get the camera out before she is posing.
This is about as formal a pose as Paige has, but a good picture none the less.

Isabella had another check-up yesterday and did wonderfully!! She is such a big girl and loves to use the water and the "sucky straw"

My First 10K

So today I ran my very first 10K!! Autumn Leaves out at Champoeg State Park. A beautiful day for a 6.2 mile run if I say so myself. Heidi, my inspiration, ran this with me and was an amazing support. With my recent shin splints and not running the last two weeks to let them heal the start was a little rough, but I pulled it off without a glitch. Ran the whole way and even maintained a wonderful pace of just over 12 minute miles, finishing strong in 1:16. I will post some photos of the two of us during the run when they are up on the running site.
