Jack's new hat & Isabella's new dance

Isabella was being very helpful chasing Jack around putting his hat back on and playing with him. Came into the kitchen following him while he was trying to get away. That is when the dancing started, so of course I had to show it to you all. here it is

Jack the independent eater..

Our boy has decided that feeding himself is much more fun than eating quickly. So we are letting him try it out and he does well, but is really messy so dinner is the best meal for self feeding.

For Lynn

Heidi wanted you to see the progress of the little roses that you gave us, they are growing and hopefully we will see flowers this summer. Thank you!!

Isabella's favorite subject to photograph...her feet

Healing up...

After a long week with a nasty little butt rash, Jack is back and flying free in the back yard.

Jack loves the dog, and is always trying to get his attention

Late Entry.....Jack and Isabella

So I found this one on the camera and thought I would add it too. This again was Jacks first time at the beach and I think it is safe to say he "digs" it. Isabella was flying her kite but got bored and decided to come on back to the towel.

Tiff the title is for you!

Almost 11 months...

Out little man is getting big, almost 11 months now and he is more handsome each day!! We are more amazed each day by all the things that he does differently than the rest of us girls. Today we bought him a little truck at the grocery store and he immediately started to drive it from one side to the other of the cart and was making motor noises the whole time. He loves to take books, cars, puzzles or anything else that he can find and push them along the floor while crawling after it. No standing alone or steps yet, thank heavens, we are NOT ready for that at all.

Another OMSI trip...

A boy and his truck

So here is the latest "boy" thing that Jack has started to do, even at 10 months he somehow knows what boys are "supposed" to do. We are certain that his sisters never did this so it has to be a "boy" thing. Very cute!!!

Bouncy Ball

ok, in answer to the comment, we have been redoing our living room, carpet, fireplace and sofa. So this leaves it a little bare, but lots of fun for the kids.

Our changing fireplace

Once we took out all of the wonderfully old brick this is what we were left with.

Phase 1: Installing the marble hearth and backer board(made of cement so its not as easy as drywall would be and not as light either), not as easy as it sounds but it turned out ok.

Phase 2: Installing the marble facing, again difficult due to the weight of the marble tiles but not bad, Heidi found adhesive used specifically for doing the job. Excellent find.

Phase 3: finishing the facing, we are still in the process of picking the inner tiles and trim so I will keep you updated on our progress.

Isabella's first face

Isabella drew her first real picture while at the dentist a couple of weeks ago, it has graced our refrigerator ever since. You will notice this person has arms(though they look like ears), legs(they look like the beard), and hair at the top of course. We are very proud of our little Picasso.

Isabella the Photographer!!

Isabella's day with Aunt Debbie! Only a picture can tell a whole story, well that isn't entirely true. A little background our camera has a blinding flash and Isabella has very quick little fingers and can fire that thing repeatedly until you are seeing little white spots.

No More!!!

Nothing like a little candid pic of Mom

Even Ashley knows to smile quick or else be doomed with a bad pic

Note the little Sponge Bob slippers, these aren't Debbie's. Isabella is always adding her feet into the picture and sometimes that is all that is in them.

She does take a nice photo for a 3 and a half year old.

More OMSI....

A little Theatre!!

OMSI

OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry)
This is one of Ashley and Isabella's favorite places to go during the day(Jack goes where ever and never complains). They joined their friends Tracey, Jordan and Sophia on this trip, and had quite a nice time.
