TVP Class project

TUALATIN VALLEY PRESCHOOL
A wonderful preschool that Isabella has been attending since October is gearing up for their annual auction that helps pay for the operating expenses of the school and keeps the tuition at a very low rate. The individual classes make a project to sell at auction and this year we are making a quilt. I am so very lucky to have so many amazing friends with special talents to assist me in making this possible. Here is the latest on the quilt, I am hopeful that we can finish it in the next week. I will be posting a flier for the auction and would love any and all of my friends and family to come and enjoy some wine or beverages, and just have a night out.

DUI...not me

I love it when justice is served!! Late last night after catching a movie I headed to Winco at midnight, by the way, that is the best time to shop for groceries. There are no lines, no people and best of all no cravings to lure you to buy what you don't need.
Anyway, driving home on I-5 South I watched a Suburban veer to the left and hit the concrete median, then come back into the lanes, one by one to the right. All of this at about 45 MPH, so being the good citizen I called 911 and reported what I saw. This morning I checked the voice mail and there was a message from a Tigard Police officer letting me know that they found the person and sure enough they were drunk and they were arrested for DUI. I feel blessed that I was there at the right time and no one was injured by this persons poor judgement.

Kim turned 34!!

So I had my birthday too!! WOO HOO, I love my birthday by the way, if you didn't know this then I don't know where you have been. Anyway this year was no exception, however I did have a couple of beautiful gifts. That's right we swore in a new President on my birthday, I watched as I ate breakfast with my friends after a long night at work. When I got home that same morning, I was serenaded by my littlest daughter and it was even taped for me so that I can watch it again and again. There is not much more heart warming than having your children sing to you.

Once she was in the outfit, she seemed to know exactly what to do without any direction. Now we just need to work on the arm movements I guess.

Hula Girl

Paige and Abigail brought Isabella back a very cute Hula outfit from Hawaii and she loves it!! What wonderful big sisters she has.

Falling behind

It is more than fair to say that I have fallen behind with my blog this month. After the girls came home from Hawaii, I have been very wrapped up with them and their finals and life itself. So now that finals are over and we are starting to move into February I guess it is time for me to get my butt in gear and update. So here goes.
