Last photos with our trusty camera

These are the last of the good pictures with our camera that Heidi's mom Lynn gave us for Christmas the year Isabella was born. Isabella has helped take photos so many times and dropped it too many times to count, now it no longer flashes and so everything is dark. It is quite a loss for our family. So I guess we are going camera shopping soon...we have so many things to photograph that we can't be without for long. I will of course keep everyone up to date and hopefully we'll have a new one soon so we can share all the wonderful things that the kids do. I need to get some good pictures of our new runner.

Cross Country
Abigail had her first meet last night!! She did wonderful, the first Tualatin freshman girl to cross the finish line. Heidi said her time was around 14 minutes for the 2 mile run...7 minute miles, way to go Ab! We couldn't be more proud of her!! We will try to get some photos to add of her finishing races.

Finally....the long awaited video

There are several other pictures that I need to post but when I finally caught Jack with the camera out I had to post this one first. He is definitely favoring the walking over the crawling now.

Stepping it up

Jack is now starting to take several steps at a time, helping himself up without the aid of furniture as well. I can't tell you how weird it was today when I turned to look down the hall and here he was walking out of the bedroom. Granted he took 6 steps or so but he was still a sight to see. We are so very proud of him, he learns more everyday and is such a brave little dude.

Phone

Ok, so I finally joined the rest of you and sucked it up and upgraded to a new phone, I know, I know you all were giving me grief about my ghetto phone. The one I like to call "ole reliable", she's been good to me, but I guess it is time to move on and so with sorrow I move up to this beautiful goddess of a PDA. I have said yet how much I love the new phone!! You all were right it was time and I am happy to have made the switch(though she still sits in the new box if I should need to go back and pick her up again).

FINALLY for my Mommy

So today was my first steps!!! Jack finally walked for me. He is a little Frankenstein, and it was the most wonderful thing I have seen in quite some time. How quickly you forget their first steps. So to any of you with little ones, tape everything you can so you can look back when you forget how precious and little they were.

BIG steps for Jack

Well he is finally starting to take steps, starting on Friday evening last he took 2 steps for Heidi!! Woo Hoo!! He continues to take 2-5 steps at a time...this he does for Heidi and his sisters. I have yet to see my little boy walk by himself. I think he knows that I am not ready and so he won't do it for me. Heidi keeps trying to get him to walk to me, but it hasn't happened yet. I will be home Wednesday to Sunday so maybe I will get lucky and he will grace me with a couple of steps of my own.

Isabella got a big girl bike this week!!

She always runs over to the bike section whether we are in REI, Target or anywhere else that sells little bikes. Hops right on and begs for us to get her a bike. We broke down and got her one this week. What a challenge it was to put together, all those little pieces and shotty directions that are made for a series of different size bikes not to mention that they aren't step 1, step 2 and so on. Heidi did a wonderful job and not even one swear word surfaced either(did I mention that she did it after she came home from work in the morning?). Isabella couldn't be more excited and happy to have her new bike and helmet. Safety first!! She only rides it up the cul-de-sac and back but when your legs are that short you can't expect too much. These are just the first pictures, I am sure we will have more that may or may not include scraped knees and elbows.

Random pic's from last week

Jack hanging out after the bath.

Just the three of us for a quick pic for mommy

We found Jack in the basket as we were trying to get ready to leave the house the other day, he was oh so proud.
Having a great hair day, we all can't be as lucky as Jack, just wash and go...very fast.

Sisterly Love

I think this photo speaks for itself, Heidi was able to catch Isabella kissing Jack last week. Priceless!

Jack and his BABY

Jack is fond of this "naked" baby, he will hug it, kiss it(open mouthed, of course), and then throw it across the room. What a guy!! I was only able to catch a couple of poses with the baby before he promptly chucked it across the kitchen, and no kissing photos. Sorry maybe next time.
