While Abigail was running her tail off we did this...

Jack and Isabella were both hamming it up this morning while waiting for Ab to run!!

Jack loved the flags, kept running back and forth and pulling on them. Almost clothes lining himself several times

My favorite Pic of my little girl!!!

Playing in the flags

Now I know it appears that he has fallen down and can't get up, however he is simply laying down in the wet, muddy grass!! Free will and being 15 months old will get this for you.

Ready, Set, Run a 5K...

Abigail and her teammates warming up before the BIG race today, JV CC had 190 runners competing today!

Pumped up after an inspirational team meeting...game face on!

Still waiting....warmed up and ready to go

Look at all of them, a trampling we will go

There they go!!!!

Rainy day out at Sip N Kranz

Isabella loves to pose for pic's this one came after a couple of others that were random. She is such a little ham. We had such a nice time having coffee this morning and playing with the kids up at Sip N Kranz, Heidi usually takes the kids there when i am sleeping but today the three of us went by ourselves.

Look at all the kids to play with!!!!!

Jack and Mommy self portrait!! I have wonderful friends who do this all the time, I guess it is high time that I learned to take photos with my phone too.

Jack thinking about getting into the water at Jamison Square, while Isabella as you can cleary see had no problem wading right on in again. We were hoping for some rain to play and dance in but it held out until we were in the car. We even came prepared with a fresh dry set of clothes this time. Bummer

Jack was very fascinated by the water cascading down the face of the rocks.

Workshop at the Oregon Zoo

A group of co-worker and I attended a very inspiring Advanced Preceptor Workshop today at the Oregon Zoo. I think that we all took a great deal of new tools out of the conference and will be able to implement these into our practice. We did also take a little walk over our lunch break to see something else that was new!! The baby elephant...who's name I can't remember! But next time we all go to the zoo I will be sure to ask again and place it in my memory, that is not like an elephants right now. Here are a couple of pic's from my phone.

First Word

Jack has entered the world of words, yep, that's right...he is talking. OK, well he says mama and now he says BALL too. So really it's like talking to the dog, "where is your ball?", "go get your ball". Not really the same but phrases like "bring it here" and "go get it" sound really similar when you think about it. We are very excited about his new word, mostly he still babbles and makes all the noises that boys are born to make. Grunts and motor boats...

Yesterday at Jamison Square

Isabella, Jack and I had lunch with Travis and then headed down to Jamison Square to have ice cream from Cool Moon! I ordered a wonderful ginger ice cream shown here, Jack ate most of it...but it was still wonderful. Isabella ordered an equally good ginger chai ice cream and ate all of it herself, even after dropping it on the stone steps and picking it back up. She also got to "play" in the water at the park. We met Heidi at her work and by that time Isabella only had on her panties because she had soaked her jeans in the water.
Lesson to self...never roll up a pair of pants on a 3 year old, they will just wade deeper into what ever body of water is near.

Abigail and her friends Homecoming 2008

Here is the only picture that we have of Abigail in her lovely dress for Homecoming. The girls all went together, who needs dates when you can get dressed up, go to dinner, and dance your shoes off with your girlfriends?

Jack's first BIG BOY haircut

Photos to follow.....Jack got his first real haircut today! With the manly clippers and all. He did great sitting on the kitchen table while I "buzzed" his beautiful blonde locks off onto the floor. A nice clean cut boy is perfect! No more hair over the ears or collar for Jack, it's all high and tight now!

Ice Cream

Some friends brought in some wonderful ice cream last week.....lemon lavender.....from Cool Moon ice cream. What an amazing treat!! I think we will need to go and check it out, its right next to one of our favorite coffee shops Sip N Kranz up at Jamison Square in Portland.

Friends Pic

A bunch of my friends from work went on a little adventure with Ecola Hills winery to the Seahawks game today!! They sent me a little photo of the stadium so I thought since I have never been there I would share it with all of you too. We have talked about going, it just hasn't happened yet. I am sure it will sooner than later. Seattle won by the way.
