Jack's first BIG BOY haircut

Photos to follow.....Jack got his first real haircut today! With the manly clippers and all. He did great sitting on the kitchen table while I "buzzed" his beautiful blonde locks off onto the floor. A nice clean cut boy is perfect! No more hair over the ears or collar for Jack, it's all high and tight now!

Ice Cream

Some friends brought in some wonderful ice cream last week.....lemon lavender.....from Cool Moon ice cream. What an amazing treat!! I think we will need to go and check it out, its right next to one of our favorite coffee shops Sip N Kranz up at Jamison Square in Portland.

A bunch of my friends from work went on a little adventure with Ecola Hills winery to the Seahawks game today!! They sent me a little photo of the stadium so I thought since I have never been there I would share it with all of you too. We have talked about going, it just hasn't happened yet. I am sure it will sooner than later. Seattle won by the way.

I haven't even heard if they had a good time or not....come on they had a great time if they were together. We sure will miss having Colin around so much once he leaves for U of O on Wednesday!!

Homecoming 2008

So here it is Homecoming 2008, and both of the girls are now in high school.....what the heck! I am sure I am not ready for this, but here it is. So there will be dresses and hair and makeup done this afternoon, all for a couple of pictures, shoes kicked off at the dance and a dinner that won't be as good as they want it to. Good times.....pictures to follow.

Meet at LO

Abigail had another meet, this time at Lake Oswego. Everyone runs at least a 5K now that the season is really getting started, and for you non runners that is 3.1 miles. The "track", course if you will at LO is very hilly and forested, did I mention for those of you who do not live in Portland that yesterday was a very sticky 86 degrees. Abigail ran perfectly, she was first out of the pack at the starting line and came in 5th overall for her race!! Running all that hilly terrain in just a mere 25:10! We are so proud of her. Sorry no pictures of the sweaty monster, though I brought the camera, its battery was dead! Next time I need to be more prepared.
