The Silly Side.....

In true Talbot style, Paige makes the same face that her dad makes when you want him to take a picture. I know that this will make her happy or at least bring a laugh.

Jack

Thank you to Travis for sending these cute pictures of Jack taken tonight while Paige and Colin figured out the whole "flower" thing. More to come of Jack's new big boy haircut.....it finally happened yesterday

Paige and Colin Homecoming

Ok the last one is a little dark but I may be able to fix it at home!! I am at work but wanted to post these beautiful photos of Paige and Colin taken this evening. I haven't even heard if they had a good time or not....come on they had a great time if they were together. We sure will miss having Colin around so much once he leaves for U of O on Wednesday!!

Homecoming 2008

So here it is Homecoming 2008, and both of the girls are now in high school.....what the heck! I am sure I am not ready for this, but here it is. So there will be dresses and hair and makeup done this afternoon, all for a couple of pictures, shoes kicked off at the dance and a dinner that won't be as good as they want it to. Good times.....pictures to follow.

One from a friend!

This one was taken by my friend Amy yesterday at the Commons!! Very sweet.....thank you Amy!!

Water at the Commons

On a balmy day like today when its not even a mire 60 degrees out Jack and Isabella decide to play in the fountains at the Commons while feeding the ducks

This would be Jack all wet with no sweats on because he soaked them

Paige and Colin after getting coffee, the fluid of life!

Isabella feeds the ducks by the handful, she is always very generous

This is our friend Amy's little guy Connor...very deep in thought about the ducks

Meet at LO

Abigail had another meet, this time at Lake Oswego. Everyone runs at least a 5K now that the season is really getting started, and for you non runners that is 3.1 miles. The "track", course if you will at LO is very hilly and forested, did I mention for those of you who do not live in Portland that yesterday was a very sticky 86 degrees. Abigail ran perfectly, she was first out of the pack at the starting line and came in 5th overall for her race!! Running all that hilly terrain in just a mere 25:10! We are so proud of her. Sorry no pictures of the sweaty monster, though I brought the camera, its battery was dead! Next time I need to be more prepared.

Paige and Colin

Ok here it is!! With much reluctance Paige held still long enough for me to take a photo of her and Colin. AHHHHH they are so cute.

Mt Angel Oktoberfest

Well we will be venturing out the the Oktoberfest tonight with the little children in tow. We always try to go at least once and this year is no exception. Paige is bringing Colin, her boyfriend, I have yet to get a photo of them together to post. I will try tonight with the old camera and see if I can do anything with what I get. So, bring on the brats, kraut, cabbage rolls, corn on the cob, ice cream and any other bad food that they can think to cook up. Cross your fingers for the photos. New camera comes tomorrow.

Updates

Well we have finally purchased a new camera to replace "ole reliable", it should be here in the next couple of days. I am very excited to get it and returning to posting pictures and videos of the family. Jack got a new pair of sandals this weekend and now brings them to you and sits down to have you put them on...very sweet! Isabella is always asking "what time is it?" every 5 minutes or so. I think she is ready to go off to preschool and socialize with other children her age. Paige is back to school and loves every second of it...just kidding! They love summer to come, then want school to come and then wish it were summer again for the first month or so. Abigail is running right along...no pun intended. Nothing too exciting for Heidi and I so I think I will leave it at that.
